The Atascadero Art Association was established in 1965 as the “Atascadero Art Club” and was renamed in 1995. It is a 501C-3 non-profit corporation established to promote love and appreciation of the arts; to foster and encourage young artists; to cooperate with other civic organizations in promoting civic pride and activities for the beautification of Atascadero and its surrounding area; to promote and encourage the establishment of suitable quarters for preserving and showing works of art, museum pieces and historical data for public benefit.
The club shall be for the mutual benefit of any and all persons who are interested in art in its various forms and in the promotion of the purposes herein stated.
